This made the process extremely simple! The shortness of tap does not matter, it helps ensure that all you grips are applied at the same length. i will never again pay the $100+ for someone else to install my grips! Highly recommend!

Adequate for the Job

Three parts to the Kit.
1. Plenty of Solvent, More than enough for 14 Grips
2. Rubber Vise Clamp seemed too small until i tried it. It holds the Shaft securely.
3. The tape strips are about 1 1/2" shorter than recommended on internet "How to Regrip" Video's, but seem to be working ok in use. The tape strip's backing is difficult to start peeling from the sticky part and a sharp knife point helps.

great little package

this is my first attempt at re-griping, and I have to say it when really well. you get every thing you need and it is very easy to work with. I watched some videos online about re-gripping and found this to be very helpful. If you are going to do your own clubs this kit makes it super easy.

Great Product

Great product for first timers and anyone wanting to regrip yourself. Made it a lot easier than I thought but the only problem was the solvenant leaked in the box and got on some of the glue tapes, making them too slick to stick to the clubs.

Great 1st-timers kit

This was my first attempt to re-grip my own clubs, and this kit gave me everything I needed to get it done. I wasn't sure how tacky the tape would be with the solvent on it, but my grips went on smoothly. Save yourself the time and money of paying someone else to grip your clubs and do it yourself with this kit!

I did my irons using this kit, a box cutter, and a bench vise. It couldn't have been easier, or taken less time. Be careful when removing the tape from the strips. If a strip sticks to itself it is ruined. Since the stips come folded over, I highly recommend you do your best to straighten them out before removing the protective layers to reduce this self adhesion.

These kit appears to be all you need to do a good job of re-gripping, but I found the whole job a bit messy and hard to complete the job. The rubber club holder could be a bit bigger, but the price is good so there you go.

This is a great all in one kit for a first timer or someone starting to get there feet wet in club building. The pre-cut grip tape strips could be longer but if you have a couple extra strips you can add to the length for each club.

I’ve been building clubs/re-gripping for quite a few years. This kit has made the task of adding grips a pleasure. No strong chemical vapors and tape strips cut to take the guess work out. I would recommend this product to anyone, except those I re-grip clubs for!

The two sided tape is cut too short for normal grips. Recommend that the pre-cut lengths be 1-1/2" to 2" longer.

Regripping made easy

I was nervous about changing the grips myself but my fears were unfounded. Once I found out removing the old two sided tape is much easier if heated with a hair dryer the rest of the job was a breeze. The new grips went on easily and hold great. No different than having it done at a pro shop. Save the money and do it yourself.

This is a very easy to use kit. Smell is not bad, actually smells like oranges.
One note- there is a backing on both sides of the tape. I don't know what I was thinking; I didn't figure this out until I started pouring on the solvent.
Another tip- after you're done, hang the club upside down while it's drying. The excess solvent will drip out of the hole on the end of the grip. I didn't do this, and ended up with a stain on my shirt from my belly putter.
