Scotty Cameron Newport Detour Putter The new Scotty Cameron Newport Detour extends the original Detour design into a conventional putter style. The Newport two-style milled stainless steel frame with an integrated arched aluminum face and body provide visual indicators that help create the proper putting path. Features: A curved profile and orange sightline show the player the proper stroke path. Stainless steel backweight triangulates weight at the corners for a high MOI (moment of inertia) and enhanced dynamic stability. The new orange Studio Design grip matches the orange shaftband and orange headcover. A stepless shaft provides a clean look at address with positive feel and feedback.

Great putter

I love this putter because it combines the alignment aid of an Odyssey with the balance of a Scotty Cameron. These clubs are heel weighted, and face-balanced so you can put a good stroke on them with keeping the alignment aid. The feel of this putter is unreal. You don't have to use the stupid Dave Peltz putting method for this putter.

The best of both worlds come together in this new addition to the Cameron line. The blacde and the Detour combine for an outstanding putter that is both a game improvement model and a solid gamer. The head design will even satisfy the mallet lovers. The design and appearance promote a gated putter stroke. Short putts are much easier to align and your percentage of short putts made will increase. Lag putts will be close to the target line. You can have the Cameron Custom Shop add head weight or even customize this to your liking. I prefer the 2.5 neck design for a more solid stroke but that's a personal preference. Both necks perform well. 5 STARS all the way!
