Snake Eyes 675B Forged Iron Head

Snake Eyes 675B Forged Iron Head: These iron heads are ideal for low handicap players (0-8) who hit the ball on-center a high percentage of the time and are looking for a true muscle-back iron with high workability. Snake Eyes 675B Forged Irons bring forth a clean design in slightly softer carbon steel than the original 600B and are precision billet-forged from 1035 carbon steel to provide a soft feel for golfers who are more discerning about a soft, solid feeling iron. The 675B's thin top line, beveled tour-grind sole design and minimal offset all appeal to the accomplished player. Each face is skim milled for flatness with the face scorelines machine milled to hit the pinnacle of quality. Download 675B Forged Iron Clubhead Specs (164 KB)

Musclebacks are Vintage

Just finished building these new clubs, and have hitten two buckets of balls. These irons fit my eyes perfectly, very sleek and all business. My last set were of the game improvement variety, after four rounds of left -right golf, they are now permanently sitting in the closet. I can't wait to get out on the course with these babies, back to the future. Absolutely too bad they are being discontinued.

best irons I have ever hit
Date: July 31, 2009
I have been playing these clubs for just over a year now, so it is now a good time to write a review.
I built these last summer with TT DG Sensicore X-Flex PURED shafts and Golf Pride New Decade grips. These irons have been awesome. This is the first set of irons I have played with PURED shafts. I will NEVER not play them again - I am a believer in the PUREing concept. I hit these straighter and with better distance control than anything I have hit in my 27 years of playing.
I have also been surprised at how easy they are to hit and how forgiving they are. They don't play like blades from that standpoint. Yet, the workability and feel that you would expect are there. Twice I have tied my lowest 18 hole score and twice I have had 4 birdies in a 9 hole stretch (firsts also).
If you are looking for a "player's" club, this is the one. I can't say enough!!

I've played cavity backs for years thinking I couldn't play a blade. I was wrong. My mishits are hardly any worse than with the cavity backs. However, my solid shots are closer to the hole. The feel is the best I've ever played, no contest. Don't let others tell you that you can't play a blade. They no not of what they speak.

Was just trying them out, but...
Date: August 1, 2008
I was a bit hesitant to switch to a forged blade, but just could not work my X20's much as I would like. So before dropping a grand on a new set of X forged I figured I would put a set of these together for 1/3 the price. After 2 months of using these clubs, I think I will wait a while on the new Callaways! i finished out the set 4-PW with TT Lites cut stiff and they are performing great! Excellent ball fight, easy to hit, and can work any direction with a little practice. Do scuff up quickly though (as expected.) Time and money well spent putting these things togehter.

Simply put, one of the sweetest irons I have ever played. I have played a variety of blades and this one is my favorite. I love the way they set-up at address and you would not believe the forgiveness on off center shots.

BELIEVER!

I was definitly sceptic of the Snake Eye brand equipment, but figured I better not judge it without trying it. I'm extremely glad I did! I started with a 5 and 7 iron matched with the True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts, and I've never hit any club that felt this good. The sweet spot is larger than I expected, and all the shot making capabilities of its competitors. I'll be finishing this set 5-PW before spring hits. If you're thinking of custom clubs don't over look these just because they're blades!

I purchased the 4-PW and paired them with the Dynamic Gold SL shafts. I didn't want to buy the 3 iron because I was a little bit afraid of not being able to hit a full blade 3-iron. After hitting these irons, I am definately going to purchase the 3-iron because they are more forgiving than I imagined. I was amazed with the accuracy and distance of mis-hits. I highly recommend these irons to anyone who doesn't have trouble hitting the sweet spot! I was suprised with the trajectory I received with this pairing. The ball launched high and carried the same distance I had been receiving with my previous cavity back irons which was great because I needed a higher ball flight.
