Snake Eyes 675C Forged Iron Head

Snake Eyes 675C Forged Iron Head: These iron heads are ideal for low to middle handicap players (0-15) looking for a clean cavity-back design that retains the set up of a muscle-back with forgiveness and workability. Snake Eyes 675C Forged Irons are precision billet-forged from 1035 carbon steel to provide a soft feel for golfers who are more discerning about a soft, solid feeling iron. As with the 675B model, each clubhead is forged through five forging dies to align the grain structure and eliminate voids, while providing consistent shape and performance. Avid players will appreciate the forgiveness on off-center hits, while the design maintains a traditional set up with a thin topline, beveled tour-grind sole and minimal offset. Each face is skim-milled for flatness and scorelines are machine milled to hit the pinnacle of quality and performance. All 675 series irons feature 8-gram weight increments that allow for a progressive swingweight set. To learn more about MOI matching and w

Tried and True!

I've now been playing with this set, 3-PW, for over a year. For the average golfer, these are not very forgiving, try the 675XC's. For players that work the ball and hit it pure, you are in for a treat. These have a super soft feel, are really well made, and look great. They still look new after 50+ rounds (I keep them covered transporting them). Paired these mid-trajectory irons with pured TT Black Gold low- trajectory shafts. The heads are easily drawn or faded at will. I try to always cut the ball into the pin to stop the ball quicker with side spin, the 675C's make it easy. The 8-PW are easily spun on the green, play like wedges.

Sake eyes 675C great looks better feel
Date: August 5, 2009
The 675C's took me about two range sessions and 1-2 rounds to get used to but it's been well worth it. Nice size head built with Dynamic Gold SL and Winn Blacks. Not the longest short irons the
PW,9,8 are built for scoring the 7,6 are average length while the 5,4,3 are as long any I've hit.The mass at the bottom which can't be seen at address really helps, you may be surprised at where your ball finishes on a less than good swings. The feel and sound are crisp and soft, you know when you got it good but there is no sting on a bad swing rather a clunk feel, fat shots are a thing of the past. If you like to work the ball these are for you, usually I just hit it straight but I fade it fairly often and draw when needed . Where I play there's wind everyday, usually a clubs worth sometimes two or three and these clubs are great for manufacturing shots.
The lack of offset has helped me line up correctly and cured my hook. I have gone from three-four greens in reg to 7-11 including 7 in a row.Cannot say enough about these club heads just which I'd tried Snake Eyes sooner.

This head is truly a professional weapon. Great feel and balance make it a pleasure to swing. I always begin with a 7 iron to determine if a particular design will work for me. If it does, I add the other clubs either individually or a couple at a time until I have the whole set.

Great Iron
Date: May 4, 2009
After I gave my irons to my son I needed a new set and the 675C was just what I was looking for. I looked at the Nike and Hogan forged irons but couldn't beat the quality and looks of the SE for the price. Wonderful lines and pretty at setup. Hits the ball pure with a buttery feel when you're near the sweet spot.

Excellant clubhead...
Date: April 23, 2009
The 675C Forged Iron is yet another quality product by Snake Eyes. This clubhead provides enough added "muscle" that will allow the mid-handicapper the opportunity to enjoy the performance of a forged head.
But, if you are looking for a total game improving clubhead in regard to forgiveness, I would suggest another quality head by Snake Eyes such as the Python.

Excellent Quality Forged Iron
Date: January 18, 2009
These 675 series iron heads are probably the best available of the market today. They look incredible and the quality of these heads is top notch. They have a classic thin top line and are a little longer heal to toe than a true forged blade. I built a 4-PW set with SST PURED True Temper Dynalite Gold SL w/ Sensicore shafts and Golf Pride DD2 midsize grips. I hit these irons very straight and have a mid trajectory. I would highly recommend these irons to better ball striking mid to low handicappers that are looking for a new forged iron.

The legend grows
Date: August 3, 2008
The legendary SE line of forged irons continue with these heads. The look, feel, specs, and performance are all unmatched in the industry. If you are over a 10-12 hcp, I'd recommend the XCs. But the Cs are plenty forgiving for lower hcps. Paired mine with Black Gold and they are golden.

Makes the shot easy!
Date: July 21, 2008
I recently added the 675C to the bag and I'm very pleased to have done so. Feel is great, ball flight is high and very managable leaving the earth with that familiar "buzzing" sound that tells you it's been hit solidly. With the added flight height, I'm getting increased accuracy, yardage, plus"drop & stop" action into the greens. The heads are paired with Aldila NV iron graphite shafts and Golfpride grips. Hdcp 8.1

Its Time for a Forged Cavity Back
Date: April 20, 2008
The new 675C Forged Irons have been a great addition to my bag. When setting up they have the look of my old MC-01 blades but I know that there is some meat behind the face. Balls off the sweet spot explode with the great feel of a forged blade. I now need the forgiveness of a cavity back to help with the slightly offcenter stikes. Because of the slightly higher center of gravity I really have to go after shots from tight lies and hard fairways or they come off a little thin. Shots out of rough or off tees are pure and effortless. I am beginning to see the benefits of the progressive weighting system especially in the 3 and 4 iron shots. Much less sress and effort. These irons are very workable and again have a great full look when standing over them without seeing all they mass behind the face. I have matched them with the Dynalite Gold S300 with Sensicore. SNAKE EYES 675C Forged Irons
Date: April 12, 2008
Everything about these irons is top notch. They look and perform beautifully, The feel is very soft and they give you great feedback which is typical of a great forged iron. They set up very nicely with a thin top line and are a little longer heal to toe than a true forged blade. They seem very forgiving as well. I have had quite a few mis-hits make it to the front of the green when I thought they would come up short. The trajectory for me is ideal. I have a mid - high ball flight with these irons which is what I was looking for when I built them. I would highly recommend these irons to lower handicap players and those who are very good ballstrikers. FYI: I installed Dynalite Gold SL w/ sensicore shafts (stiff flex) with Winn AVS grips. Handicap: 6 and my driver swingspeed is 98 mph.

It's LONG; It's Easy; Try It--
Date: March 10, 2008
I'm mid fifties and play to a 16 handicap, (like many of us and watch the Golf Chanel) so it's said amatures can't or shouldn't hit a 2 iron.
I had to try it in my learning process.
I'm glad I did.
The club is very manageable, has a solid feeling through the ball (without the sting when off center like the old blades) , and plays well from the fairways. Off the tee it is impressive, providing 220 - 230 yards (for me), without any vein popping swings.
I recenlty played it on a very windy day and it allowed great workablility against tough conditions. I do have 2 hybrids, but I can work this iron around a tree with the greatest of ease.
I chose a True Temper TX90 shaft for this club head. I wanted very low torque, the ability to hit "punch" shots under and or around obstacles, while still being able to get the ball up in the air when necessary. It has proven to be very playable and a great asset for longer courses.

Soft Soft Feel
Date: January 2, 2008
I had been using for the past 9 months the 600XC's and just loved them. So Christamas came around and my in-laws bought me the 675C's for a present. I paired them with the soft feeling Nippon 1050GH. I built the 5 thru PW and all I can say is that they have such a wonderful feel to them. They feel very solid but at the same time very soft. I am an 18 handicapper and was worrid about being able to hit these solid. Well those fears were short lived when I hit the 7 iron for the first time and it went long, high and straight. I went through 2 large buckets at the range and even on miss hits (which felt like few) they still felt so forgiving and smooth. GS you did it again, thank you. My irons for 2008 are now set.

Not Too Shabby
Date: December 2, 2007
I always liked the idea of mixing last year's 600B's & 600C's throughout the set, so I thought I'd try it out w/ this year's 675 line. The 675C is not a bad club, but I wish it was as small in size as the 675B that I am pairing it with. The C's don't have as much "feel & workability" as the B's, but they are much "easier" to hit with a higher trajectory. Lofts are slightly different on most of the clubs, so check the specs before you mix them. For those that don't intend to mix the sets, check the specs and compare them to your current set or one that you're interested in. The 675 line can have a whole to half a club difference (except the 3 & 4 irons are about average).

I ordered the 675C 2 iron head and paired it with a Black Gold X-flex. The combination was golden! The ball coming off the face very smoothly with a pleasing click before shooting downrange some 240+ yards, not entirely sure of the yardage since it was dark. The clubhead looks great at address, has some offset that isn't glaringly obvious. I do like the Snake Eyes logo on this product.
