Snake Eyes Viper Ti-Steel Fwy Wd Head Viper fairway wood heads have gone through a dramatic upgrade to produce a hot, powerful flight from a high-strength steel alloy manufactured by Carpenter Steel named Custom 455(TM). Custom 455 is over 50% stronger than commonly used 17-4 stainless steel. The 2.1mm thin face is crafted separately from the body, then welded around the perimeter of the face to raise the C.O.R. (USGA conforming) and deliver a hot feel and trajectory. Face heights are medium height to play from both the fairway and rough which allows for more spring-like effect than shallow-faced designs. The crystal mirror-polished sole with glass bead blasted accents finished with a deep metallic blue head paint make this Viper Ti-Steel look as good as it performs.
