Snake Eyes Quick Strike Q4U Hybrid Head

Snake Eyes Quick Strike Q4-U Hybrid Head These are the fourth generation of Snake Eyes Quick Strike utility woods. The Q4-U is a compact hybrid head design with a slight amount of offset to the hosel. The Q4-U incorporates four perimeter weight ports that concentrate weight around the skirt of the head. In addition to the extra port mass are inserts made of tungsten/rubber which not only add reinforcement weight but also assist in vibration dampening. The head features a concave sole design to help reduce surface friction over a wide variety of turf conditions. Recommended lengths for graphite shafts: 15 deg: 41" 19 deg: 40.5" 23 deg: 40" 27 deg: 39.5" 31 deg: 39"

Now I can reach those 190 yard par 3's without getting the 3wood out and flying the green.

I just can't hit an iron anymore, but this 31 degree hybrid is the perfect addition to my bag. I can hit the shot with a high trajectory again and hold the green. I can't wait to get my 35 and 39 degree heads!

Teaming up this 23 degree head with an NV85 shaft is just what the doctor ordered. The weight of this head works great with an XS NV shaft and provides great ball flight whether trying to hit a tight fairway or sticking your approach on a fast green. You will not be disappointed here!

These clubs get into the air quickly but the trajectory is not too high and the ball flight is not affected a great deal by the wind.

It's ok...

I have to admit that I was not very impressed with this head. The club head is extremely heavy, and I was surprised with the lack of forgiveness. Although to be fair, it is great rescue club that seems to perform better in the rough rather than the fairway.

Put the head on a UST hybrid shaft. I seem to hit the ball straighter and abit further. I like the solid feel at impact. Would recommend.

Average Clubhead

I found the Quick Strike Q4U Hybrid Head as being just an average performer. After matching a 23 and 27 degree head with matching S.E. Quick Strike Q4 Wood Shafts, I was a bit disappointed in the lack of forgiveness and control upon testing.
The combination of head and shaft made for a very attractive product, but I do not foresee the demand for them due to performance vs price.
Before building one of these hybrids, be aware of the recommended lengths as it will be different from industry standards and effect swingweight. Also, these heads will have a hosel diameter of .355, so choose a shaft that will be applicable.

Cons: Quality, less forgiving

I can say with confidence that this was a good purchase for the money. Very good out of the rough, and also straight as an arrow. I would highly recommend this product to any one who has trouble hitting long irons....definitely a game improvement club......

This is a great hybrid for for better ball striking mid to low handicaps. It sets up square and launches the nicely off of any type of lie. It is a very solid feeling and it sounds great. I went with the 23 degree model to replace my four iron and I use this club 4 to 5 times a round. I would only hit my four iron 2 times per round because of the lack of launch angle. This club is great for par 5's when you hit it in the rough. I can still advance it about 190 yards with this club which improves my chances to score. I installed a SST PURED Pro Launch Blue Hybrid .335 shaft and Golf Pride DD2 grip. The length is 40.5" and the swingweight is D4. Trajectory is mid / high.

Purchased this as my first hybrid club. I have played two rounds since putting this club together. Club hits true and gets the ball up in the air. I can hit it an average of 200-210,so the three and four irons have been retired to the garage.
