Snake Eyes Tour Platinum 7803 Putter Head

Snake Eyes Tour Platinum 7803 Putter Head: In four different body styles with three different neck designs, Snake Eyes Tour Platinum putters feature milled surfaces over their 304 soft stainless steel. The Advanced Roll Control (A.R.C.) milling pattern features a series of semicircle cuts, or scales, situated in a 440 upward angle. The width of each scale is 4 mm, compared to the average ball dimple width of 5 mm, so the edges of the scales can catch the ball s surface regardless of where they make contact. The result? A quicker overspin with less bouncing and skidding, leading to a truer roll that stays on line. Each has a rich black PVD finish with a bead-blasted topline to reduce glare. With each Snake Eyes Tour Platinum 7803 Putter Head purchased, you will receive a free putter headcover (a $9.99 value).

Best Blade for the Money
Date: March 9, 2010
Ordered the SE 7803 on line to replace my Odyssey White Hot mallet, which, while I liked the weight, face and roll, always felt a little wobbly on the take-away. Ordered the Snake Eyes after trying many other brands and knowing I wanted to go back to a blade with a little more weight. After reviewing the specs, I ordered the 7803 without trying it (big risk, but I knew what I was going for)...and I couldn't be happier. The ball rolls truer than any putter I have tried...the ARC face works like a charm and get the ball rolling immediately. The weight, at 360 grams, is perfect...with enough momentum on long lags and great feel & touch on 3-5 footers. The lie and balance are phenomenal with the face staying straight & true and long take-aways and follow-throughs. The non-glare top finish is beautiful and has rendered a lot of comments. The no-alignment mark on the 7803 is a non-issue, as the cut-away lines up perfectly with the ball. The exceptionally clean look at address allows you to focus completely on the putt.
The only comparable putter out there is the Scotty Cameron California series.

I made a bunch of puttts right away
Date: March 23, 2009
I built this putter over the winter and put it in the bag.
The first time out I made more putts then any round all of last year.
The blade lines up very square to my line and the face treatment puts a very good roll on the ball each time.
I may sell my collection of putters, I have found the one I need.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, great design

I built this head to a 34.5 inch putter with the SNAKE EYES logo V-RAD grip and a standard putting shaft. It is a heavy head (good for my game) and looks great at address. The cutout on the back of the putter matches the width of the ball and makes the absence of alignment lines not an issue. The ARC technology face is not a gimmick, very "RIFE-like" when you make solid contact; minimal skidding or backspin off the face. The quality and design make the asking price a bargain; you will end up with a putter that has feel like the expensive models for a fraction of the cost. I HIGHLY recommend this putter but caution that the headweight might be higher then you are accustomed to with some of the other putters on the market. I LOVE IT.

SNAKE EYES Tour Platinum 7803 Putter
Date: January 18, 2009
I was so happy to see these putters online in December. I have been waiting for a Snake Eyes putter to come along that would knock my 2 ball out of the bag. This putter has finally done that.
I have played three rounds and one tournament since I have assembled it. This putter will be in the bag for years to come. It looks incredible, feels as solid as a Scotty and the ball rolls better than any putter that I have putted with thanks to the ARC technology. I have had many compliments from my playing partners and that will translate to sales throughout the year. The length is 34".
