Snake eyes iron set covers.
Date: May 12, 2009
I recently purchased this set and I have to say they look great. they fit my snake eyes python XL's with the true temper dynamic gold high launch with sensicore irons and Winn DSI grips. the only thing that would make these even better is to have the ink a little thicker. they should last a while, but i think the ink will fade in time. better ink thats all. they look and fit great for any iron set. thanks again
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: needs better ink.

Good, almost great

The iron covers look, work, and feel great. I love the brushed texture of the plastic material.
I've used them for about 4 years now without any tares or degeneration in the quality.
The only con (keeping them from a 5-star rating) is the ink used began to wear off withing the first half a year or so. Now I can't read most of the numbers on the covers. It's any easy fix with a little paint of your own.
Pros: Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value

Bought a set of snake eyes covers years ago and over time lost many of them. Decided to purchase a new set and these covers are no disappoinment. Wedge covers still fit a little loose as did the others but they wear well. Too bad they don't have the ability to secure the covers to one another. Always liked that idea and never lost a cover. Folks must like the covers because I never had anyone return one.
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use
Cons: fit loose on wedges

Covers that don't come off....
Date: December 29, 2008
I recently got a set of the Snake Eyes FlexLock iron covers...they are actually better than I anticipated...I had a set of covers for my old set of clubs that were constantly falling off, in fact the last time I played a round, I lost the 6 iron cover...I just recently purchased some TaylorMade irons and wanted a better cover for them...these are the ticket and inexpensive to boot...The only thing I would like to see is the blank individual covers for sale...I have a 52 and 60 degree wedge along with my 48/PW and 58/SW....need one more blank to cover all....maybe you guys can talk to the manufacturer on that...You shouldn't have any trouble with selling these covers....The Oz..
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: need to offer separate blank covers

I really like these head covers. I've tried some others over the years, and these stand out as the best yet!
They are durable, because they are made of a high quality, thick, injection-molded plastic/rubber material. It appears that it will hold up well to years of use (but not abuse).
Also, they are well shaped for my clubs (Mizuno MP-60's). I think I got the non-oversized version, and they are just the right size. Since my clubs are soft, forged metal, I wanted to keep them from dinging each other. These fit the bill well!
They are easy to use and snap on and off quickly and easily. (They don't actually "snap", but the shape of the mold kind of makes them "snap" onto the club head.) They are easy to remove by hand, but seem like they wouldn't come off unintentionally. I've even swung a club with the head cover on it to see what would happen, and it didn't shift at all.
These are much, much better than the neoprene sleeves I've tried. Those wear out very quickly, with the stitched seams unraveling almost immediately. I also had a set of head covers that threaded together and only slid on the face of the club. Since they couldn't "hold on" to the hosel, they fell off WAY too easily and were a major pain.
These head covers do exactly what you would expect, they do it well, and I don't see any downside to them.
There is one thing to note, however: As they are a thick, non-breathable plastic/rubber material, it's not recommended to keep them on the club heads while the clubs are in storage. This will trap moisture and lead to rusting more quickly. This isn't a problem for me, though, as it takes less than 30 seconds to completely remove or put on the set, so I use them while I play and take them off when I get home. I also don't mind taking 5 or 10 minutes after a round to clean my clubs up, so this isn't a big deal for me.
Try them; you'll love them and keep your clubs like new!
