TOUR EDGE CB2 Fairway Wood with Graphite Shaft

CB2 Fairway Wood with Graphite Shaft The CB2's beta ti cup face is 30% lighter than its predecessor, transferring more weight back into the head. The result is a 30% increase in MOI. The CB2 features multiple face thickness technology for enhanced spring effect. The outer edges of the face are thinner than the center, allowing the face to flex more at impact for incredibly fast ball speeds. "Hailed superior in every way, the CB2 offers breathtaking looks and radical innovation." This superior design chemically bonds a light-weight, high-tech, titanium-cupped face with a heavier hyper-steel body. It starts with a cold-rolled tiatnium cup face that is computer-milled around the edge of the cup with a high precision rim. The remaining body is precision cast to include an interlocking channel. The parts are chemically treated, pressed together, and vacuum heat-cured for permanent bonding without heavy welding. Designed for a higher level of performance, the CB2's t

Everything you've heard and more
Date: April 13, 2009
If you're an avid golfer and a gear junky like me you've probably heard about these fairway metals and wondered if they are as good as the hype. Frankly they are better. Granted these are not the easiest fairway woods to hit, but if you are a moderate to good ball striker and don't mind putting in a little time on the range you will love these sticks. They are long, I hit my 3 wood 255 consistantly with a nice soft controled fade. With a draw I was hitting about 260 to 270 but with out the consistancy of the fade. My 5 wood goes 240-245. Honestly having 2 of these fairway woods in the bag is over kill. If I had it to do over I would just buy the 4 wood. To me this would be perfect, a club that I can hit 250 but has enough loft to hit off the deck with ease. Tour Edge has the best warranty in the business. The shaft of my 5 wood cracked at the hosel. They replaced it free of charge, they even payed the shipping.
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: price. the cb-2s are expensive even used.

Best Purchase Ever
Date: April 5, 2008
I purchased the 3 wood 15 degree and I have never hit a three wood this far. The club is easy to hit and very accurate. When you hit it perfect the ball goes a mile. When you hit it good the ball goes a half mile. Buy it before they are all gone!!!!

Incredible club that is long, straight, and easy to hit...not only on the tee box... but also in the fairway. I replaced my 9* Callaway FT-I driver for the15* CB-2 and am hitting it just as far if not farther. The price is high but you are getting 2 clubs for the price of 1

Better Than the Original Exotics 3 Wood!
Date: August 26, 2007
I owned the original exotics 3 wood and had to have the CB2. Bought it with GD stiff shaft....wow this club is everything as-advertised, long, sweet feeling, and ball just absolutely rockets off the face. It may be longer than some drivers, no kidding. The club is beautiful. I didn't think Tour Edge could make the exotics original any better, well they did. The combo brazing technology is just awesome and sets this fairway wood FAR apart from the others..believe it. You must try this fairway wood, its the best fairway wood on the market!
