TOUR EDGE Exotics XLD Driver

Tour Edge Exotics XLD Driver: Lightweight, sleek and strikingly distinctive: every last detail of the XLD exudes uncompromising power that reflects the Exotics name. The XLD's stealth-like geometric shape moves the head's CG (center of gravity) deeper and lower, generating an extremely high MOI (moment of inertia). A contributing factor to the XLD's performance is a laser-welded beta titanium face. The face is computer-milled and features varying face thickness from 2.8mm on the outer edges to 3.3mm in the center for explosive power. The distance generated by the XLD is nothing short of electrifying. Designed for the ultimate driving experience, in-depth research went into decreasing the XLD's overall weight. This led to extensive study on reducing wall and crown thickness and created one of the lightest drivers on the market. A new waxing process minimizes the thickness and weight of the titanium crown and allows more mass to be shifted to the rear corners of the head. With the XLD,

PURCHASED THIS DRIVER ONLINE IN SEPT. 09 ITS VERY LARGE COMPARED TO OTHER 460CC DRIVERS AND IT SOUNDS LIKE A COFFEE CAN WHEN YOU HIT IT! STOCK SHAFTS DON'T COME X-STIFF! IT'S REAL EASY TO HIT THE BALL BUT IT'S HARD TO WORK A DRAW WITH THIS DRIVER IT'S JUST TO BIG! MY DRIVING DISTANCE IS STILL THE SAME NO IMPROVEMENT! I HAD TO CHANGE DRIVER! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS DRIVER FOR BEGINNERS!

Do not buy another driver ever

The best driver on the market by far. Dont be fooled by the wierd shape of this driver, looks are deceiving. Being off a handicap of 1, i need all the advantages i can get, especially with length and this is where this driver comes into its own. The distance this thing creates is phenomenal. The XCG was just as good out of the middle, but the XLD kills on off center hits, mainly off the toe. At the company's demo day, all clubs were there. The XLD smashed most by an average 30 yards and reported better feedback by creating better spin rates and launch angles giving it the maximum distance it creates. Better still, the price just makes u wanna buy it. As far as accuracy, this is a straight as it gets, as long as you can control a light club. The only con is the lack of shaft options, and the stock shaft isnt the greatest. But it doesnt matter, because everythin else makes up for it. This just proves for me that Tour Edge is one of, if not the best brand out there. Cya long and straight.
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: lack of shaft options

Love it!!

Went looking for a 460 driver this spring. My local golf shop recommended a Tour Edge. I tried this club out, along with a Calloway Big Bertha. I bought the Tour Edge Exotics and just love it. I played my first round with it over the weekend. I only missed 1 fairway, whick is unusual for me. Tee shots were long and straight. If you're looking for a new driver, try one of these. see ya in the short grass.
