This wedge is exactly what I expected. It does scuff most softer balls, but it really makes the ball stop on a dime. I am playing the 60 degree now. I will be replacing my other 2 wedges with Vokeys.

The Wedge by Which All other Wedges are Measured
Date: September 5, 2009
I have played Cleveland Wedges since the 588's, and was always satisfied with them. That is, until I decided to try out one of the new 2009 Spin Milled Vokey Wedges. WOW!!! These things put spin on the ball I NEVER got with my CG12 "ZIP GROOVES". These wedges are in a league of their own, and I am replacing my Cleveland wedges for all Titleist!!!

Liked them more than the Clevelands
Date: June 1, 2009
I bought the 56 and 60 degree versions in the mid bounce. I am a sweeper but my fitter recommended me mid anyways. Which has worked out perfectly. Excellent bite and feel, compared to the Cleveland wedges. I went with Black Nickel and so far it has been good. I heard bad things about the Oil can's rusty look. It took me a little while to get used to these clubs but now that I'm getting more proficient I have yielded some impressive lob/ sand shots that have put me less than 3 feet from the pin more lately. I just say it's the "vokeys".
Pros: Quality, Durability, great feel, great finish, great spin
Cons: most expensive wedges

More bite than Jaws!
Date: March 10, 2009
I just bought 56 and 60 degree wedges to replace my old spin milled wedges. Both wedges just glide efforlessly through the sand as well as providing plenty of feedback. I was not surprised that they still 'bite' from the morning dew soaked green side rough.
I also liked the wide array of choices including the three different levels of bounce for the 56 and 60 degree wedges I picked up. It may sound odd, but get your wedges fitted. I spent about 30 minutes getting fitted for both wedges on the launch monitor. I have the tendency to take good size divots out of the turf as opposed to some player who 'sweep' their wedges. FYI. The pro recommended mid bounce wedges for me.
The spin-milled design does have a minor drawback however. Soft-covered golf balls are basically destroyed after a couple full swing approaches. The club face rips enitre chunks of the cover off of the ball, especially if you tend to highly compress the ball against the fairway. This thing will eat Pro V1s in three bites or less.
Overall, this is the best wedge on the market. Just DO NOT use these with the distance rocks at the range. I found that out the hard way with the old ones. That's the only reason I had to replace my old spin milled wedges.

Soft Feel
Date: February 27, 2009
These wedges are extremely soft and provide great feel. I also really enjoy the black, no glare, yet no funny colors you typically get with the oil can. Great looking clubs that provide great feel.
