When you go out to look for a driver....ask the people working there what they are using? I guarantee at least 3 people have this club in the bag. It's not the most expensive or the most talked about, but it just flat our preforms. I have it in a 9.5 with an upgraded VS Proto 70S. Definitely look at getting the upgraded shaft...makes a big difference. Get fitted of course. Give it a try! Awesome!

Unsung, unbeatable

Added 20 yards (truly!) over previous drivers. Striking it 260-280 with regular swing, 300+ when I go after it. Easy to fade, hard to hook. Ball hangs in the air forever, thanks to the clubhead's spin profile. For a better player (I'm a 2), this is a steal.

scorching low spinner

Bought this after trying a few others. It took a little getting used to but the results have been great. Replacing a mk1 Ping Rapture 9* w/ DVS 65-S, this 10.5 degree A4 has a similar trajectory but the low spin generates far less drag and has given me considerably more distance from the tee and even slight miss-hits go as far as my better strikes with the Ping (and most other top line drivers I've tried).
The loft is true, ie it plays a little lower than many others so my 10.5 loft gives me a similar flight to 9 and 9.5 degree lofted drivers of other makes. I've also read that this is a low-spinning head so I'd recommend demoing to make sure it's good match to your swing, ball type, etc.
Overall a great, powerful driver that has got me hitting approach shots from further along the fairway. I love it.
At the current price of 200 bucks (July 09), it's a steal.

I have to say whatever Adams is doing they should keep on doing it. I am a devoted Titleist player, but if you look in my bag there are 3 Adams products taking up spots once occupied by Titleist. I had my mind made up on the 909 D2 driver until I hit the A4 (9015D). If you are looking for a low spin driver that flat out performs then this is the club. Low penetrating shots that feel like you have just crushed the ball, and you have! What seems to be overlooked in several of the reviews I have read is how forgiving this club is, yet you can work it in any direction. Simply the best club I have ever hit. You owe it to yourself to hit this club. Highly recommended.

i would deffintly recomend this club to any one. but it it like a tour club so if your a good player you will LOVE IT. but it is a lot better if you get it fitted for your self. just to warn you if you dont hit the ball well it wont be good but if you do hit it good it is AMAZING.

A Home Run from Adams!!

I will admit...when it comes to drivers I have ALWAYS been a Titleist guy. I have played the 983K for 4 years and was in the market for a new driver. Naturally, I first went to the Titleist D2. I had very consistent numbers with the D2. 91 mph swing, 132-34 ball speed, carry of 230-45 and accurate. That was the club for me.
Then a friend asked me to try the new club from Adams that had only been out for a couple of weeks. Not a fan of Adams drivers, I hesitantly said ok. WOW!!! Right out of the box my swing speed avg went to 99.5, ball speed to 140+ and my carry gained 15 yards!!
Played next day at my club with a demo and reached a par 5 (510 yards) with this driver and a 5 Iron!! Again, WOW!!
The Matrix Shaft (60-S) took a little adjusting too as it is not as stiff as the YS-6 I was used to, but when you hit this club, the ball SCREAMS towards your target! Needless to say, this club is in my bag now!!
Adams has come through BIG on this club!! Look for more than a handful of pros make the switch to Adams driver soon!!!
