TAYLORMADE Tour Preferred Iron Set 3-PW with Steel Shafts

TaylorMade Tour Preferred Irons 3-PW with Steel Shafts The TaylorMade Tour Preferred Irons offer a masterful blend of modern technology and classic design. A classic blade shape provides for a thin topline and shorter blade-length from heel to toe for a clean and compact look at address while the shallow, undercut cavity redistributes weight to the heel and toe pads for increased stability and a solid feel. The tour-configured sole was designed with input from tour professionals to optimize turf interaction for maximum playability. TaylorMade's patented Inverted Cone Technology provides faster ball speed from a larger portion of the face (a larger sweet-spot) that results in more consistency on off-center hits while the vibration-management cavity badge creates finely-tuned sound and feedback for a soft yet solid feel that's extremely satisfying.

Best Irons In My Bag
Date: September 1, 2009
I can't say enough about these irons. I absolutely love these since they have been put into my bag. I immediately noticed a tighter ball flight and trajectory even on miss hits. Any 5-handicap or lower can tell you that these irons are the real deal. Compared to the AP2s I can only say that I am glad I made the decision to go with these in the end. A great topline and profile keeps the traditional look alive making these a player's iron.

Amazing Irons
Date: August 18, 2009
just picked up the set of irons, switched from titleist 704cb. picked up about half a club to a full club in distance on all the irons. longer irons get up high and land soft. I went the extra yard and put Rifle project X flighted 5.5 shafts on them, not sure how the stock shafts feel. the Rifle shafts give me a consistant shot everytime. clubs are easily worked in the short irons, also have not had a problem working the ball on the longer irons. i hit most of the top rated clubs either in stores, or out with guys i played with, and hands down these were the best. i don't recommend these for anyone who has an inconsistant swing, or higher handicaps. i am 30, have been playing since i was 10, currently play a few times a week. my home course is the Black at Bethpage, i am around a 4 index handicap. hope this helps

amazing

just picked these up because they were on sale for the weekend and wow these are amazing. i wanted some players clubs so i was looking around and i hit these solid at the store and it's the same at the range. they also feel great on impact. feels like there's sensicores in there but no they just feel like butter. if you are looking for clubs even if you're on the higher end of the handicap try these out. you might not like the bulky huge irons and might like the players type irons more. i know i hit these better than any of the game improvement irons even for the long irons.

Very Accurate
Date: March 13, 2009
These clubs create a very tight pattern of shots. I am a 5 handicap that has always played game improvement clubs. I find these clubs very easy to strike. I recently switched to these clubs coupled with Rifle Project X shafts. This combination creates a very accurate low boring trajectory. Perfect for our winds in Oklahoma. However, I have lost considerable distance b/c these clubs have standard lofting (I am accustomed to hitting very strong lofted improvement clubs).

Fantastic Clubs
Date: November 7, 2008
Just purchased a set of these irons and I just have one word to describe them. Wow. Great ball flight, excellent trajectory, very forgiving and very easy to hit. The lack of offset encourages me to hit the ball a little more from the inside, but I get rewarded with a straight ball flight. I am a 13 handicap and my friends were very skeptical when I said that I wanted to buy them. I guess I'll make them believers during our next round. If you are in the market for clubs, buy these or try them out. You won't be sorry.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, really gets the ball in the air
