TAYLORMADE r7 TP Fairway Wood w/Graphite Shaft

TaylorMade r7 TP Fairway Wood As with all products in TaylorMade's TP line, the r7 TP fairway woods were created at the request of tour professionals who wanted a fairway wood that incorporated the look of the V steel (which is the number one fairway wood on the PGA tour) with the trajectory-changing capabilities of TaylorMade's Movable Weight Technology. The r7 fairway wood is made of titanium, saving 50 grams of weight needed to incorporate TLC (TaylorMade Launch Control) technology. The r7 TP fairway woods began appearing in the bags of touring professionals at the 2005 Players Championship, including those of Retief Goosen and Scott Verplank. Features: Dual TLC ports change the center of gravity (CG) location to promote varying degrees of draws and fades which promotes greater accuracy and distance Widely spaced TLC ports dramatically boosts moment of inertia for longer, straighter results on mis-hits Tour-proven V-shaped sole reduces turf resistance and helps maintain club

Best Fairway Clubs Ever
Date: November 20, 2005
These are special clubs. I have #3 15 degree and the #5 17.5 degree. Both clubs have Fujikura Vista Pro 80 stiff shafts. Incorporating the TLC system in this fairway wood has given me the ability to really work my fade. This system has improved my accuracy and added more distance to my game than my old fairway woods. I'm totally sold on Taylormade TLC. In my bag I have the R7 Quad Ti (9.5 Degree), the 3 and 5 Fairway TP, and the Dual Rescue (19 Degree). If you're looking for fairway woods, this is the one.

Amazing Club
Date: September 15, 2008
I started using this club 3 weeks ago and I love it. Off the face it feels really smooth and you know when you make good impact. Coming from sasquatch fairway woods to these is easy. I bought it as a demo club and the price was less than a used r7 fairway club.

Best fairway wood ever!
Date: April 19, 2007
The Taylormade R7 tp fairway wood has to be the best wood every made hands down. I have the 3 wood 15* of loft with the vista pro 80 shaft in X flex. I hit this club great. It must go about 260 or more. This club is great the feel is good cause to me I like to be able to tell where I hit the ball on the face and with this I can. Also, having Taylormades TLC helps cause when Im playin a Fade i can change the weights and make it a straight or a draw. Its awesome club, I think everybody that wants a good wood and doesn't care how much go with this. I added the R5 Tp driver after buying this club and now im shootin high 30's on nine holes.

3 wood

This new R7 3 wood is an amazing club for the intermediate to advanced skill player. I bought it for a pricey $$$ at golfsmith right when it came out. Wow i can just bomb this thing, sometimes just as far as my r7 driver. The weight shift system is always a bonus if you want to correct your swing. I strongly recommend you buy this if you want to hit it lonnnng. The only downside of course is the price but it is well worth it.
