sometimes you buy a driver and feel like you didn't get your money's worth and that its not all that great. Well this burner is the defiance to that problem. You step up to the tee box extremely confident and arent so worried about... how far your back swing is, your stance, your knee rotation, etc. its just step up, deep breath, wack, and watch the ball sail farther than you thought you could hit it

Taylormade burner driver

10.5 degree, reg. shaft. Bought this item from golfsmith, arrived in almost new condition. Hit this club better than any previous taylormade or titleist driver. I am very pleased with the product and the service I received from golfsmith.

Great value buying used. The only difference I could find was a little smearing on the bottom of the club where it had been cleaned, and the head cover was not included. Great driver!!! Being a beginner, or "beginning again after 8 years" this club has added 25+ yards to my drives and the "mis-hits" don't hurt as bad.

Very explosive clubhead. Probably could use a different shaft, but overall I was very pleased. It's hard to go wrong with any TaylorMade driver. This one is no exception.

i have been using the cleveland hibore xl all summer long. i usually play all new drivers a few rounds to see how i like them. i settled on the xl in 10.5* with the red tour shaft in stiff. i can pretty much depend on 270yards down the middle or slight fade 85% of the time.
so being the curious cat that i am i got the 10.5* burner with the aldila nv stiff shaft and ughhhhh. i was skying everything and had no control. figured that was that and decided to return it. well i instead exchanged for the 9.5* with the stock stiff shaft.
WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
using my sky caddie for the last 2 rounds. i am now averaging 305 yards straight with a low ball flight. unbelievable. cant really work the ball much but i dont think thats what this driver is for. i am not ready to hang up the xl yet but i will be playing the burner more often for now.
pick this up, it is lots of fun. unbelievable fun.

You have got to swing this club!
Then you will know, and believe all they say about it is true. This is the sweetest sounding, and most forgiving driver I have had the oprotunity to use. I'm to the point now where I get anxious just to hit off the tee just to see how well the next drive will be.

I have always been a Cobra guy, but after demo days with all theother new drivers, the Burner is the one that kept me in the fairway. It also sounds more like a driver then the typical tin can sound of the new Nike, Adams, Callaway, Cobra, etc. I lost about 20 yards from my cobra, but it was usually 20 yards to the right, so thats ok.
I changed the grip to a Decade, and eventually took 1 1/2" off the shaft, and I'm actually hitting it further then with the 46" shaft (because of consistantly making contact in the center(ish) of the face.
Great on mis-hits, great on pop-ups, great for punching it low, this is just a great driver - but don't tell the others in your foursome - its fun being the only guy walking down the middle...
