Recently bought the 09 Burner TP Driver, 10.5°. The driver is open at address which I like very much and is very accurate off the tee. Not real crazy about the shaft, don't get me wrong, its really not that bad, but the shaft on the regular 09 Burner driver has a better feel to me. Though the loft is 10.5°, it has a mid-ball flight with great roll out.. I've played this driver for almost a month now and have 3 wood confidence and accuracy off the tee, I can't imagine how well I'll hit it in a year.

good choice!

finally decided on making the upgrade from my 454 bigbertha and i could not be happier, this driver feels really nice of the tee, drives feel quite long and very straight, the sound and feel is also very nice, overall i feel very comfortable with this club. the stock shaft feels a little whippy and i'll try to get fitted for a new shaft soon probably in the 75g range

The TaylorMade 2009 TP Burner Driver is improved over the previous generation, with even higher MOI. The shaft is very responsive and consistent. The lighter weight head increases the swing speed as represented.
