Confidence

The club looks and feels just right, giving me the confidence right from the stance. Whilst I have not used 3 wood much in the past, R9 TP Fairway Wood is beginning to play much larger role in my game as it provides accuracy and necessary distance off the tee where using a driver may pose more risk.

Excellent Purchase

I recently purchased this club after purchasing the R9 460 tp because i was so happy with the results i got from the driver. I always have had some trouble finding a 3 wood that would provide me with a nice trajectory while maintaining distance. This club is what i've been looking for. I have been playing the cleveland launcher model from about 5 years ago because it has always given me good results although the shaft was a little whippy. I decided to go with this club because i loved how stable the motore f1 65 gram shaft is for me in my driver, even with a swing speed around 108. I didn't like the 85 gram stock shaft in this club because i prefer a slightly lighter feel. I went with the 75 gram motore F1 and it is very solid. It produces a mid launch low spin ball flight with amazing distance. Looks great in your hands and is very forgiving. I have finally found the complete 3 wood! I'm very impressed with Taylormade's R9 line of clubs, being that i have played titleist clubs all my life. The results i have gotten make the switch well worth it!

TMade TP 3 Wood - Wonderful Purchase
Date: July 22, 2009
Purchased this R9 TP 3 Wood three months ago and have played 10 rounds and have taken to the driving range many times. This club delivers a punch to golf balls and is very easy to hit. It sets up very nicely to the eye and exudes confidence on the down swing. A must buy for those who desire perfection with clubs.
