Well, I tried this putter and it was SOOOO solid at impact that I couldn't help but buy it. I typically like a center shafted putter (Odyssey WH #8 XG - previously Odyssey WH #2). So I was very surprised to get hooked on this one. Setup is flawless. Really gives a good look at the line and putts very smoothly. No skipping, just roll. No insert but the feel is still soft like an insert.
Try this one if even just in the store. It sold me.

Cool Putter, Great Roll
Date: October 12, 2008
I was very impressed by this putter. The blade style (modern Calamity Jane?) and toe weighting really suits my stroke and my arc. The C-Groove is no gimmick and really gets the ball rolling smoothly. I'm thinking about trying the Yes! Sophia because of the way Yes! putters seem to roll. Overall, very impressed, decent price, very nice grip (for a Winn), and very solid feel at impact.
